SUNSHINE COAST SOCIALFEST

A SOCIAL DANCE COMPETITION THAT IS OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A GO.

The event will be held on the 19th May 2024 at the Square Dance Centre,Dixon Rd, Buderim. It is envisaged that the doors will open at 9.30 am with the event starting at 10.30am. If the car park is full then please park on the verge opposite the centre. 

This is a SOCIAL EVENT and is open to ANYONE who would like to dance.

Anyone may enter regardless of dancing standard or level of experience and all are encouraged to do so. Ballgowns, tails etc are not allowed and the standard of dress for the occasion is streetwear.

You may have a different partner for each style, but no more than one partner within that style. You must stay within your age group. Ladies may also partner up to form a couple, however, must maintain the role of leader or follower for the event. Should numbers be deficient then age groups may be grouped together.

Although registrations will be taken on the day it would be appreciated if you would enter before the event. There is no fee to register but an entry fee of 15 dollars for adults and 8 dollars for children will be charged on the day. 

As no one will have a grade or level to dance in, grading events will be held first. The dances for these grading events and you can download a copy of the program via this link
